In an old orphanage, Anna Whitmore takes care of the children, until little Samuel whispers the often unusual things that perform at night time. Someone is moving them, he insists. With Daniel Hayes, Anna explores bedrooms, lecture halls, dark corridors and forgotten storage rooms, uncovering photographs, toys and letters tied to the children who lived here long ago. Using volume by volume, a forgotten story emerges. What began as a midnight mystery would become an adventure in the children's memories of the night.
